An Tobar and Mull Theatre are holding a number of events over the next couple of weeks.

Art In Motion: The Completion is an exciting new collaborative and inter-generational project incorporating contemporary dance and art in all its forms.

The vibrant programme was developed and delivered by project leaders Alicia Hendrick and Andi Stevens and brought together young artists and dancers, and established artists and performers, to create new, exciting pieces which were selected for a successful exhibition at An Tobar Gallery in February 2018.

Art In Motion: The Completion will be performed by dancers from Tidal tonight (Thuursday November 15), at 8pm in Mull Theatre.

The event is free but booking is essential.

A drop-in writing workshop is being held at An Tobar on Saturday November 17 Saturday 1 December, from 11am-1pm, with Juliet Antill.

Beginners are welcome and the class is suitable for all levels of experience – explore your creative landscape with these single day sessions.

And on Saturday November 17, An Tobar will launch its annual open exhibition.

This year’s exhibitions at An Tobar Gallery have all featured work by artists who use found materials. With this in mind, organisers have invited artists and makers from Mull, Iona and Argyll to contribute work on the theme of FOUND for the gallery’s annual open exhibition.

The launch event takes place on Saturday, November 17 from 6-8pm in An Tobar Gallery. All welcome.

The exhibition runs until Saturday December 22.
