A big crowd made its way to Glenfinnan Games Field shore of Loch Shiel on Tuesday night for what turned out to be an impressive November 5 fireworks display and bonfire party.
The National Trust for Scotland Centre at Glenfinnan Monument remained open until 8pm for refreshments and snacks, with the event free admission to all.
The bonfire was built by local residents and community council members on Sunday morning and the Tuesday night’s event drew spectators from across Lochaber to what was one of the few public fireworks displays in the area this year.
