Mull’s Colin MacIntyre has launched his new Mull Historical Society album, Wakelines.

Produced by the Mercury Award-winning songwriter and Brit Award-winning Producer Bernard Butler, the album is the songwriter and author’s eighth record.

MacIntyre is now on tour and will play songs from the album at his From Page To Stage event at the inaugural Tobermory Book Festival next month, on October 27.

The event will celebrate Colin’s childhood on Mull in Hometown Tales, featuring stories, songs and music from the Mull Historical Society, as well as poetry by Colin’s grandfather Angus Macintyre.
