Sports day at Oban’s Park Primary School was a top team effort.
Youngsters from the primary school and its and early learning centre showed good sportsmanship loudly cheering each other on in all the races.
The traditional three-legged and egg-and-spoon races were as fun as ever.
Temperatures peaked and so did the sales of strawberry treats to help everyone keep cool.
A stall making fans, face and nails painting were just some of the other activities on offer to the big family turnout.
Year five pupils from an enterprise group made £300 on their stalls, to be split between school funds and a trip to the cinema.
Headteacher Gillian Carney said: ‘The weather was with us. It was a fun-filled and exciting day. We had lots of parents there to support us and the children’s behaviour was excellent.’
Students from Oban High School were also there on the day to lend a hand.
‘They were a big help,’ added Mrs Carney.
