The demolition of the old Oban High School began on Monday as a JCB tore down the building’s entrance.

The buildings are being cleared to make way for a car park and bus drop-off point for the new Oban High School next door which pupils and staff moved into on Wednesday April 18.

The surface of the existing 3G pitch at the school is due to be replaced, with new goals added, during the summer holidays. All work is due to be finished by February 2019.
