Oban golfer Robert MacIntyre failed to make the cut at the KPMG Trophy in Belgium last week.
The Glencruitten left-hander shot an opening round 73 at L’Empereur Golf and Country Club in the European Challenge Tour event to leave him 10 shots off the lead.
He followed that up with an improved score of 68 but it was not enough to earn him a place in the final two days.
The competition was won by Portugal’s Pedro Figueiredo, who led from the first round.
MacIntyre finished in joint 89th place.
