Motorists using the A85 to the west of Taynuilt are being warned to expect disruption as BEAR Scotland resurfaces a 600m section of the route.

Works will begin on Monday May 21 and are programmed to take up to five days to complete. The resurfacing will be carried out between 7am and 7pm each day, with no works taking place on Saturday or Sunday.

The A85 will remain open throughout the improvements, but to ensure the safety of road workers and road users temporary traffic lights and a 10mph convoy system will be in operation while works are undertaken.

Traffic management will be removed outwith working hours to keep disruption to a minimum, although a speed restriction of 30mph will remain in place as traffic will be running on a temporary surface.
