A planning application has been submitted to turn Ardfin Estate on Jura into a private members club, featuring a swimming pool and spa.

In a report commissioned by Ardfin Estate Limited, it says the club ‘will likely be limited to a maximum of 50 memberships for the personal enjoyment of themselves and their invited guests’.

The club will be primarily operated from the stables conversion, however, Jura House will also be used.

The estate has been built up over the years, with the first phase carried out in the 1840s. Extensions were added in 1881 and 1939, with more extensions completed in the last few years, including a pool house.
