The Proclaimers are on their way to Oban’s Corran Halls.
The gig is on Saturday August 4 and tickets go on sale this Saturday from the venue on the Esplanade at 9am.
There will be a maximum of four tickets for each person and a queue is expected.
A limited number of tickets will also be available on line from proclaimers.co.uk.
Special guest will be Glasgow songwriter Daniel Meade.
Twins Charlie and Craig Reid are best known for their songs I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles), Sunshine on Leith, I’m On My Way and Letter from America.
This week the Scottish Government released a short film starring TV presenter Carol Smillie performing CPR in a garden while singing a version of the Proclaimers’ 500 Miles tune with the lyrics altered to give CPR advice. The campaign is part of a five-year plan to teach 500,000 Scots CPR and save 1,000 lives by 2020.
