Abusive behaviour

A 22-year-old man was was arrested and issued with a £40 fixed penalty notice for behaving in an abusive manner at 12.50am on Monday March 12 in George Street, Oban.

Mobile phone

At 8.10pm on Monday March 12, on Shore Street, Oban, police stopped a lorry as the driver, a man aged 57, was allegedly driving while using his mobile phone. The man was charged and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.

Door damaged

Sometime between 4pm and 10pm on Wednesday March 14, the door to a flat at 12 Soroba Road, Oban, was damaged. Police are investigating the incident and are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with any information to contact them on 101 or anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.

Abusive behaviour

At 4am on Thursday March 15, following a report of a man behaving in an abusive manner towards a woman at a house near Kilninver, a 36-year-old man was arrested. The man was charged with abusive behaviour and held for court. A report was submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.

Fighting allegation

Three men, aged 20, 21 and 22, were issued with a recorded police warning after fighting with each other at 1.35am on Friday March 16, in Argyll Square, Oban.
