Theft of digger
Between Friday January 19 and Monday February 19, a red and grey Kubota KX027-4 digger on an Ifor William 3.5t trailer, was stolen from Pennyfuir Cemetery, Oban.
Vehicle batteries stolen
Between Saturday February 10 and Monday February 19, two 20V batteries were stolen from two dumper trucks on a building site near Loch Avich.
At about 4pm on Tuesday February 20, in Main Street, Tobermory, a red Nissan Note car was damaged by having the driver’s door dented and scraped by another car which failed to stop.
At about 5.15am on Thursday February 22, following a report of a man behaving in an abusive manner towards another man in a flat in Dalintart Drive, Oban, a 28-year-old was arrested and charged with abusive behaviour. The man was issued with recorded police warning.
At about 1pm on Thursday February 22, following a report of a man behaving in an abusive manner towards a woman at a house in Creag Bhan Village, Oban, a 36-year-old was arrested and charged with abusive behaviour. The man was held for court and a report was submitted to the procurator fiscal.
At about 10pm on Thursday February 22, two business advertising signs were stolen from the A85 roadside, near to the Taynuilt Hotel.
At about 8.50am on Friday February 23, on the A816 at Kilninver, a motorist was stopped for dangerously exceeding the speed limit. The driver, a man aged 69, was charged with dangerous driving.
Between noon on Thursday February 22 and 9.30am on Saturday February 24, an information sign made of wood and aluminium, sited at the edge of woodland at Loch Nell, Kilmore, was badly damaged.
Urinating in public
At about 4am on Saturday February 24, in Corran Esplanade, Oban, a 26-year-old man was issued with a recorded police warning for urinating in a public place.
Between 9am and 10am on Saturday February 24, in Craigard Road, Oban, a red Mitsubishi pick-up was damaged by having the bodywork scratched.
At about 11.40am on Saturday February 24, on the A82 near Bridge of Orchy, a motorist was stopped for exceeding the speed limit. The driver, a man aged 27, was charged and a report will be sent to the procurator fiscal.
Theft of shopping
At about 2.30pm on Saturday February 24, a shopping trolley containing items that had been purchased was stolen from the café area in Tesco, Oban.
