Police Scotland confirmed today (Monday) that searches were ongoing in the Roy Bridge area of Lochaber for a missing hillwalker.

Police were called at 3.50pm yesterday (Sunday February 11) to reports of a man having fallen while climbing Beinn a’ Chaorainn.

Volunteers from the Lochaber and Cairngorm mountain rescue teams started searching for the 55-year-old man yesterday along with the Coastguard search and rescue helicopter and searches have resumed this morning.
