Oban High School is preparing to host its 11th annual dance show
in the Corran Halls on Wednesday and Thursday, January 17 and 18.

More than 200 pupils will take to the stage in a wide variety of acts
that will follow a ‘Old v New’ theme.

Dance groups from all year groups, led by 22 senior dance leaders,
make up many of the performances as well as the OHS gymnastics
squad, sports leaders, staff dance, Highland choreography, duets,
P6/7 transition dance, traditional Highland dancing with OHS
Pipe Band, S1-S3 school of dance and Ballet West outreach will also
feature. Pupils have been working exceptionally hard in after-school
clubs since August and the show will be a fantastic showcase of
talent.

Tickets are now available from Oban High School or from the Corran
Halls for the 7.30pm Wednesday and Thursday evening
performances and the Thursday matinee.

More than 400 local primary school pupils are booked in to watch the matinee at 12.15pm on Thursday afternoon but there will be an additional 200 seats for members of the public who would prefer to attend the afternoon show, which always has a fantastic atmosphere.

Tickets are priced £6 for adults, £4 concessions and £18 for a family ticket (two adults and two concessions).
