After week six of the Lochaber Building Supplies 10-pin bowling leagues at the Nevis Centre in Fort William both the scratch and the handicap divisions are still very close at the top.
The Empire still lead the scratch division with 25 points followed by Alleycats in second place on 24 points and Council on 22 points. Council are the new leaders of the handicap division with 22 points followed by The Empire on 21 points and Alleycats on 20 points.
Individually the best scratch game of the week came from Pam Weller (Alleycats) with 185. Tony Whitelocke (Alleycats) had a 176. Pam also had the week’s top two game scratch series of 324. The week’s high handicap game of 230 and the top two game handicap series of 435 both went to Brenda Rennie (The Dominos).
The best team scores of the week all came Alleycats who swept the board with the top scratch game of 640 (the season’s high), the top handicap game of 833, the top two game scratch series of 1165 and the two game handicap series of 1551.
The top scratch average is held by Ben Weller (The Empire) with 158 followed by Pam Weller (Alleycats) with 153 and Tony Whitelocke (Alleycats) on 152.
