Bellaire AFC 5, South Lochaber Thistle 2

Greater Glasgow Amateur Premier League

South Lochaber Thistle started the new year with defeat at the hands of Bellaire AFC after a trip to Greenock on Saturday (January 6).

With both sides in the mood for goals, the score ended up 5-2 to the hosts, meaning South Lochaber suffered defeat for only the second time in the Greater Glasgow Amateur Premier League this season.

The Jags sit in sixth place, on the same points total as Boswell and Carradale, who sit just above them in the league.

The Lochaber side are in league action again this Saturday as they take on Glasgow side Busby AFC at home in Kinlochleven with a 2pm kick-off.
