Motorists are being warned to expect disruption as repair work starts on the A830 Morar River Bridge this week.
The £1m project involves installing scaffolding around the bridge and beneath the bridge deck, allowing teams safe access to the bridge components. Work is expected to be completed by the end of March.
A specialist protective coating system will be applied to the bridge to protect it from corrosion. The original paint was applied when the bridge was built in 1994 and this investment will allow the protective coating to be restored.
A lane will be closed during the project.
