OBAN Saints return to West of Scotland Cup duty on Saturday when they travel to Paisley to take on Braehead of the Glasgow and District Saturday Morning AFL in the third round.
Braehead are a relatively new team founded in 2012 and they play at St James Playing Fields in Paisley.
Braehead received a bye in the first round and in round two they came from 2-0 down to beat Ayrshire Division Two side Darvel Victoria 4-3.
Braehead were eliminated from the Scottish Amateur Cup two weeks ago losing 6-0 away to Dumbarton Academy FPs from the Caledonian League.
In their domestic League Cup competition they defeated AC Milanda 2-0, Renfrew 2-1, Glasgow Islay 5-3 before going down 4-3 to Blantyre. They have only played one league game and that was last Saturday when they recorded a 4-1 away win over Bridgend.
This will be a tricky tie for Saints but hopefully they will be at full strength and their greater cup experience will come to the fore and they can progress to the fourth round of the competition.
