The season opens with a concert on Sunday October 1 in St John’s Cathedral at 3pm.

The Doric String Quartet will be playing works by Britten, Haydn and Mendelssohn. This is in conjunction with the Mendelsohhn on Mull series of concerts being held on the island next week.

Tickets are available at the door priced £10 for non-members. Ordinary membership of the society is £15 with an extra cost of £5 for each of the six subscription concerts attended. Subscription membership of the society is £40 with no extra cost for each of the six subscription concerts attended. Children and students are free.
