Gardeners, florists, craftsmen and bakers gathered at Glengarry Community Hall last week for the village’s annual produce show.

Entrants from around the area impressed the judges with their creative attempts to win the top prizes at the well-attended event.

One show organiser commented: ‘It’s been another smashing year, with entries up on last year and some fabulous flowers on display despite the non-existent summer.’

Cherry Duncan won best exhibit at show, taking home the David MacCallum Memorial Cup. Cherry plans to raffle her prize-winning clown to raise funds for the poppy appeal.
