Accies win Oban Saints youth tournament

OBAN Saints youths held their annual tournament sponsored by Oban Joinery Services at Glencruitten Parks last Sunday.
Like their senior counterparts, the youths were hit by late call-offs from Dumbarton, Ross County and Queens Park, but thanks go to Lochgilphead Red Star for taking part at short notice.
Tournament winners were Hamilton Accies, who have won the competition eight years in a row. Oban Saints finished in a creditable second place.
A special mention should go to a very young Morton team who were excellent all day.

The various trophies were handed over the Oban Saints youth committee men Mark Anderson and John Scott.
