Sunday May 28
Glen Feshie – maps 36 and 43, NN850985
From the car park 1km north of Auchlean, walk down the road to just before the cottage and turn left on to the path that rises through the forest at first and climbs towards Carn Ban Mor. The path goes SE until it reaches a track going east. Follow this to its end (less than 1km) and cross the burn. The rest of the route is pathless and involves contouring at about 900m east, then south, then east again past Loch nan Cnapan and Loch nan Stuirteag until the summit is reached. Return the same way (31km, 1,340m ascent).

Thursday May 25
Glen Nevis Munro and top – these two peaks at the SW end of the grand Grey Corries Ridge make an easily achievable expedition in magnificent scenery in the shadow of Ben Nevis.
Start from the Upper Falls CP, NN167691, at the end of the Glen Nevis road. Follow the path E through the Nevis gorge and continue to Steall ruin. Continue on the path E for 2Km, taking the upper route when it bifurcates. Leave the path where it crosses the Allt Coire a’ BhuicEX, NN208691, and follow this burn up NNE. Once below the cliffs of Sgurr a’Bhuic, head up N to the col at an altitude of 731mEX.
Turn E and climb the ridge to the summit of Sgurr Choinnich Beag, 963m. Descend E to a col and climb the ridge to the summit of Sgurr Choinnich Mor, 1,094m.
Return to the col then descend SW across the slopes to reach the path in Glen Nevis. Head W back
to the start.
This is a strenuous walk of 17Km, with a climb of 1,100m.
Meet at Fort William WM NN112742 at 9.15am, with the walk starting at 9.30am.

Saturday May 27
Rannoch Moor – a walk in the wilderness with views of splendid hills in all directions.
Start at Rannoch Station car park, NN422578. Head S on the B846 past a cottage then turn SW on a track.
Follow it across the railway and continue to the junction at the forest entrance at NN418579.
The gate in to the forest is locked but to the left of it, the barbed wire has been removed to facilitate access. Follow the track up NE through the forest, turning right near the top to emerge on to the open hillside.
Continue W on the track, ignoring a junction, to its end at NN411585, altitude 430m.
Continue up W over rough ground to reach Meall Liath na Doire, 580m, at NN400585. Turn WSW, descending about 60m before climbing up again to the summit of Meall a’ BhuirichEX, 638m, at NN379573.
Descend slightly again, negotiating some peat hags, before climbing again up the shoulder of Stob na Cruaiche to the trig point at its summit, 739m, NN363571.
To return from the summit, follow an ATV track ESE for about 1.5Km to a small spur at NN377567, from where you can see the forest and Loch Laidon.
Continue E diagonally down the slope to enter the forest at NN391569, cross the Allt a’ BhuirichEX and follow its left bank down to the forest track. Followthe track NE back to Rannoch Station Tearoom and hotel for refreshments.
The train for Bridge of Orchy leaves at 6.38pm.
This is a moderate walk of 14Km, climbing to 550m.
Meet at Longsdale car park, Oban, NM862307 at 9.25am, Glencoe car park 9.55am, or Bridge of Orchy Station for 10.48am departure. Start of walk at 11.10am.
