Possession of drugs

About 6.45pm, on Friday May 12, near Bridge of Orchy, a woman aged 21,  whose vehicle was stopped and searched by police, was found to be in possession of a small quantity of cannabis.

Abusive behaviour

At 7.30pm on Monday May 8, a 52-year-old man was reported as behaving in an abusive manner and shouting and swearing at two members of the public in Dalmally. A report has been submitted to the procurator fiscal.

Dangerous driving

About 11.30pm on Tuesday May 9, on the A85 at Taynuilt, a black Nissan Qashqai car was seen being driven dangerously. The vehicle overtook a fire appliance at high speed in a built-up area. Police inquiries are ongoing.

Speeding offences

Between May 8 and 12 at various places on the A85 between Dalmally and Tyndrum, and also on the A82 near Bridge of Orchy, three car drivers and one van driver were stopped and charged with driving at excessive speed. All were the subject of reports to the procurator fiscal.

Attempted break-in

Overnight between Saturday and Sunday, May 13 and 14, an attempt was made to break into a garden shed in Drummore Road, Oban. Police inquiries are continuing.
