Oban, Lorn and the Isles Health and Wellbeing Fund is open for applications with the first closing date set for May 31.

This local network devolved budget has £21,131 ready to be distributed in the Oban, Lorn and Inner Isles area.

Last year projects included support for young and old people, homeless initiatives, training to build community capacity and outdoor activities.

This fund is open to voluntary and public sector projects with a focus on being well. The aim is to improve the health of the population.

Priority will be given to initiatives that can demonstrate reducing health inequalities, breaking down barriers to participation. The focus of projects must be about fairness and addressing inequality.

Details and application forms can be found at www.healthyargyllandbute.co.uk/application-for-funding/
