The B8035 on Mull was closed for at least two weeks from Monday this week at Knock Farm near Gruline to allow urgent repairs to Knock Bridge over the River Ba.
Argyll and Bute Council hopes to complete the works within the fortnight but warned it may take longer depending on what the workers find.
