A World Day of Prayer service will take place tomorrow, Friday March 3, at 2pm in St Andrew’s Church in Fort William, with refreshments in the church hall to follow.
The Trotternish branch of the Scottish Women’s Institute’s next meeting will be on Monday March 13 at 1.30pm in Kilmuir Village Hall. Representatives from Isle of Skye Chocolate will be speaking to the group and hopefully bringing along a few samples to test.
Re-Act Lochaber is holding a fundraising gig next Thursday (March 9), in the Crofter Bar, Fort William.
Acoustic Refu-Jam will have live music, a raffle and a live DJ set from Seperator and Bloc to finish off the night. The music kicks off at 8pm and will run until 11pm, with a break at 9.30pm for the raffle. The suggested donation is £5, but any contribution will be greatly appreciated.
Reprentatives of Lochaber Sensory Care for Sight and Hearing support will be at Mallaig medical centre on Tuesday March 7. The team will be there from 2pm until 3pm to offer help and advice to those with a sight or hearing loss. NHS hearing aid batteries will be supplied and re-tubing of the hearing aids will also be provided. No appointment necessary.
