Glen Mor Pipe Band is looking to recruit new pipers and drummers in a bid to boost numbers for its forthcoming competition season. The band, which has been inactive for the past two years, hopes to attend the Scottish Championships with a view of possibly attending the world championships.
The band practice every Monday from 7.30pm to 9.30pm at the Salvation Army, Glen Nevis Place, in Fort William.
A spokesperson for the band said: ‘This is the perfect opportunity for anyone who is thinking about getting their pipes or drumsticks out of the cupboard and get back into playing again. We also welcome the beginners too.’
To get in touch call Pipe Major Willie Evans on 07799 254 779, email pipemajor@glenmorpipeband.com or through Facebook on Glen Mor Pipeband.
Practice evenings are subject to change so check with one of the members before going along.
