BEATON – Isabella “Bella” from the Ross of Mull passed away peacefully at home, in Drumbuie, on December 19, 2016 aged 98 years. Wife of the late Hugh (Veek) and much loved mother, mother-in-law and granny. Another light has gone out in the Ross.

Dearly loved husband of the late Katie, much loved dad of Neil. SCOTT – William aged 85 passed away peacefully on January 9, 2017 in Ward B, Lorn and Islands Hospital, beloved father of John, Fiona and Robbie and grandfather and great-grandfather. Forever in our hearts. No flowers please.
BEATON – The family of the late Bella Beaton wish to thank all family, friends and neighbours for their kindness and support in their sad loss. Thanks to everyone who sent cards, floral tributes and messages of sympathy received during this time. Special thanks to the dedicated team of stay at home carers niece Catriona who looked after her, without them she would not have been able to stay at home as was her wish. Thanks also to the support from Bunessan Surgery (GP’s and District Nurses) for ensuring she was comfortable to the end. We would also like to thank Joyce Watson for her comforting service and Iain MacDougall for efficient funeral arrangements. Thanks also to Linda Cameron and her helpers for a superb spread at Creich Hall. A grateful thanks to those who travelled from near and far to pay their respects despite the cold wind. A collection at the end of the service for Bunessan Surgery and Creich Church amounted to £520, hopefully it can be put to good use. Thank you all very much. Lastly, we give thanks to Lynnette at Petals in Oban for the beautiful floral tributes despite the limitations imposed at this time of year..
GUNN – William and the family of the late Janet would like to thank all family and friends for messages of sympathy and support. Special thanks to Glen Mor Medical Practice and district nurses.
