sawmill fireA major fire at a Fort William sawmill on Tuesday morning, September 30 2014, was prevented thanks to the efforts of emergency services and a safety visit to the site by firemen just three weeks ago.

Two fire engines from the town fire station were sent to Corpach at 1.18am when a 15-tonne machine at BSW Timber, one of  the largest timber yards in Europe, went up in flames.
