Time is running out to be a part of The One Show 1000,and Sport Relief is asking the people of Argyll and Bute to represent their area and enter now.
Sport Relief and the BBC’s The One Show are calling on people to take part in the epic The One Show 1000 relay and help raise much-needed cash for this year’s Sport Relief campaign. The event,which will see people from all over the UK join forces to run a mile each in a 1,000 mile relay from the Isle of Mull to the Mall in London,is filling up fast so enter now at www.sportrelief.com/the-one-show to be in with a chance of being one of the lucky 1,000. From Tobermory,the route will go to Glenforsa,Ardnacross to Craignure before heading to Oban,Glen Lonan,Taynuilt,Loch Awe,Drimfern,Balantyne Wood,Inveraray,Argyll Forest Park,Arrochar and Inverbeg before heading to Dumbarton.
Starting on Friday 16th March,The One Show 1000 will travel around the UK,running 24 hours a day,for 10 days,and taking in towns across Scotland,England,Northern Ireland and Wales before a grand finale into the Sport Relief Mile on the Mall on Sunday 25th March.
The One Show 1000 comes through Argyll and Bute on the 16th and the 17th March and people aged over 16 are being urged to apply to take part and be one of the 1,000.
