LOCHABER fighters entertained a boisterous home crowd at the Nevis Centre in Fort William with a series of impressive displays at Lochaber Phoenix ABC’s boxing show on Saturday April 20 2103.

Nine local boxers,including national and regional champions,took on opponents from across Scotland on a packed bill.

Lochaber Marathon sees record broken

lochaber-marathon-winners-2013The Lochaber Marathon on Sunday,April14 2013,saw the women’s record shattered by more than four minutes,despite the heavy rain and strong wind,as Joanna Zakrzewski,Dumfries,crossed the line in 2hrs 45mins 55secs. Robert Gilroy from Hamilton was first over the line.
