Argyll farmers push for movement on foot and mouth restrictions

The Lorn branch of National Farmers Union Scotland (NFUS) has been pushing for early lifting of some of the most onerous movement restrictions introduced since the second outbreak of Foot and Mouth Disease.
The issue was discussed at a hastily convened meeting attended by more than 150 farmers and crofters.
