West Highland farmers still in limbo

Two major lamb sales in Oban and Tiree have been scrapped as farmers and crofters remain in limbo because of the foot and mouth outbreak in England. Auctioneer Donald Morrison said it was unfair that livestock movement restrictions had been lifted in some parts of Scotland but not on the west coast.
