Islay airport figures rapidly rise to new heights

Additional flights and cheap airfares are allowing islanders to travel home from working elsewhere more often than before. Passenger numbers at airports in the Highlands and Islands have increased by seven percent in the last 12 months, with Islay showing the biggest jump by 26 percent.
