The second day of the Pre ’65 Scottish Days Trial had to be abandoned because it had proved impossible to lay out a route with rideable sections as the volume of rain that fell continually on Thursday and Friday,May2-3, resulted in the majority of sections being under several feet of water instead of the normal few inches. April 22nd,2013%  Photo by Stephen Lawson Oban Lorne RFC First XV became heroes on Saturday April 20 2013 as they lifted the RBS Bowl at Murrayfield in Edinburgh after a hard-fought 19-14 win over Grangemouth Stags RFC. Tries from Struan Smith,Jamie MacMillan and Andy MacDougall,as well as two conversions from Craig Wright,sealed the most historic win in the club’s 50-year history. Around 700 fans descended on the Capital and became the ’16th’man with their rousing vocal support.
