 Football coaching took place at Oban's community pitch With 43 courses and 430 delegates this year’s Coaching Champions event which took place in Oban over the weekend of February 4-5 2012 was an enormous success. Continue reading Successful coaching weekend in Oban  Ballachulish’s all-conquering teams celebrate with their trophies. JUNIOR shinty players from across the west Highlands packed out the Nevis Centre in Fort William for an annual indoor primary school competition on Saturday morning. Ballachulish ran out winners in all three age categories after three hours of tough play in the round-robin tournament,which was organised by Glengarry Shinty Club. The seniors of Oban Express Primary Football roared back into action on Sunday morning,January 29 2012,at Oban Community Pitch after last weeek’s cancellations,playing 18 games on three pitches in only three hours.
DESPITE only taking the game up two years ago,Taynuilt lad Harry Mobey is showing he has a future in badminton after clinching three county medals.
