A landslip between Arrochar and Ardlui on October 31 2012 saw services on the West Highland Line being subject to disruption.
The 4.05pm Mallaig-Glasgow Queen Street and 6.11pm Oban-Glasgow Queen Street terminated at Crianlarich,with a replacement bus service to Glasgow.
The 6.10pm Glasgow-Oban/Mallaig started from Crianlarich – with a bus service from Glasgow to Crianlarich.
The 7.50pm Caledonian Sleeper service from Fort William was cancelled. Customers were transferred to Kingussie to connect with the Inverness Sleeper.
Customers due to travel on October 31’s sleeper service from London Euston to Fort William were taken to Inverness and transferred by bus to Fort William.
Others travelling to intermediate stations boarded the sleeper service to Glasgow to make their onward journeys.
The line re-opened at 4.10 this morning.
