ARGYLL and Bute has the potential to be a world leader in renewable energy,ensuring the future prosperity of the region,according to energy experts.
The claims were made at a supply chain event at the Scottish Association for Marine Science (SAMS) in Dunstaffnage,where the companies behind the Sound of Islay Tidal Array sought the support of Argyll’s business community.
Scottish Power Renewables (SPR) hosted the event on Frida, October 26 2012 to tell Argyll’s engineering,energy,haulage and marine experts about the opportunities available to them when the 10-turbine tidal array project gets underway in 2013-2014.
