Shellfish growers from across Scotland gathered in Oban on October 24-25 2012 for the annual Asssociation of Scottish Shellfish Growers’conference.
Speakers including national and international experts and there was hot competition for the best Scottish mussels,native and Pacific oysters.
Award-winning native oyster grower Tristan Hugh-Jones showed The Oban Times the best way to shuck an oyster.
