BLACK cats have long been thought of as lucky and for one feline on the Isle of Mull that proved to be the case this week.Mr T,owned by Catherine Fitness, has won The Oban Times Pet Idol competition 2012 and Catherine could not contain her surprise and delight.
The three year old cat had been unwell earlier this year but battled through to be crowned champion of the pet competition.
Catherine said:‘He was very ill in April,I thought I was going to lose him,it was awful. He had a bladder haemorrhage and is now on medication for life.
‘He is a totally changed cat now,he comes up for cuddles which he never used to do.’
