Letters have been sent to every business in Oban’s 30 mph zone to seek nominations on to the town’s Business Improvement District (BID) company.
Ten directors will be elected to sit on the board,with two further directors filled by representatives from Argyll and Bute Council.
The company is due to start its work on October 31 2012.
