Lucy Robson will swap the court room for the Canary Islands after competing at this month’s Tiree Wave Classic.

ONE of the most interesting stories at this year’s Tiree Wave Classic will come from Lucy Robson, who is giving up a legal career for the sport.

Lucy,32,has worked in property law since 2004,but next month gives it all up to become a full time windsurfer and aim for the Professional Windsurfers’ Association (PWA) women’s world championship title.

Tiree will be one of her last amateur events, and she will complete the transition to pro status by moving to Fuerteventura in the Canary Islands with her two year old daughter.
