POLICE have named the man who died following a fall on Ben Nevis on the night of Friday September 21 2012.Insurance agent Andrew Tedder,49,from Emley,Yorkshire,tumbled into a gully while descending around 10pm.
Mr Tedder and his party were only an hour from the bottom of the hill when he slipped and fell just above the top aluminium bridge on the tourist path.
Lochaber Mountain Rescue Team leader John Stevenson said the victim had told his party his legs were sore and had been walking on easier ground near the edge.
