Pilot injured in Mull plane crash

A woman has suffered facial injuries following a plane crash on the island of Mull.
The Cessna aircraft flipped over when its front wheel dug into the ground on landing at Glenforsa Airstrip on the island around 11.30am on Sunday September 23.
The 49-year-old female pilot was taken to Dunaros Hospital on Mull before being transferred by helicopter to the Southern General Hospital in Glasgow.
The 47-year-old male passenger was unhurt. Both were out of the aircraft before emergency services reached the scene.
The plane has been cordoned off and the fuel tanks isolated.
