A BUS company has been slated for using a double decker bus to take Lochaber children to school over an exposed mountain route.
Stagecoach usually schedules a coach to ferry Onich and North Ballachulish pupils to Kinlochleven High School via the B863 ‘high road’ from Glencoe.
But when a double decker appeared as the 44 service from Fort William at North Ballachulish on Friday at 8.15am,the schoolchildren refused to board.
The bemused driver contacted managers in Fort William for advice then drove away without the youngsters.
