Lochaline’s heart starts beating again

Lochaline’s industrial heart is beating again as the Morvern port’s quartz sand mine re-opens.

Tarmac UK shut down the silica sand mine in 2008,with the loss of 11 jobs but now those jobs have been restored to the remote community.
