NEWTONMORE have been stripped of their Aberdein Considine Sutherland Cup win after admitting fielding an ineligible player in the competition.
Youngster Calum Stewart scored twice in the final as ’More’s second team defeated rivals Kingussie 5-4 at the Dell on July 28.
Stewart also netted in his side’s semi final win over Glenurquhart.
But it later emerged Stewart had made too many first team appearances to qualify for the competition.
The Camanachd Association’s Behaviour in Sport Committee disqualified ’More from the competition and ordered the final to be replayed between Glenurquhart and Kingussie.
A date for the rearranged fixture has not yet been set.
