A record held for nearly 50 years was shattered as the crowds cheered at Mull Highland Games on Thursday July 19 2012.
One of the longest running games in the area,Mull Highland Games started in 1923 before stopping for a period because of the war.
Held at Erray Park in Tobermory, these were the 65th games since its revival in 1948.
There was a full range of piping, dancing, heavy events and athletics on offer. There was even street theatre to entertain the crowd.
The performance ‘Fish out of Water’ drew some curious stares from onlookers as silver fish danced their way around the field.
