
Fire crews battled the blaze in Shore Street
A FIRE that gutted a vacant business premises in Oban’s Shore Street is being treated as wilful fire-raising by police,who have issued descriptions of three teenagers seen near the premises at the time.
Emergency services were alerted to the fire at The Harbour Bowl at around 7.45pm on Sunday and three fire appliances,as well as the High-Reach appliance from Oban Fire Station were mobilised.
Oban Police has made an appeal for witnesses and are particularly keen to speak to three teenagers,two females and one male,all aged between 13 and 16 years old,who were seen in Shore Street at around 5.30pm and subsequently in Shore Street.
