Man rescued after mountain fall

A MAN in his sixties sustained slight head injuries after he fell 50 feet while climbing Sgurr Dubh Mor in the southern Cuillin yesterday afternoon.

Members of Skye Mountain Rescue Team and the Stornoway Coastguard attended the scene.

The injured party and his wife were airlifted off the mountain to Broadford Hospital.
