AN ACCIDENT involving two lorries to the east of Connel continues to disrupt morning traffic.
Police have closed the A85 in both directions outside the Glue Pot to allow a helicopter to land.
There are queues for traffic heading towards Oban from the Connel Bridge but it is reported these vehicles are filtering through.
Diversions are in place eastbound via A828 to Ballachulish and A82. Westbound via A819 to Inveraray,A83 to Lochgilphead and A816 to Oban.
Police have confirmed one driver and a passenger were taken by ambulance to hospital in Oban while a second driver was airlifted to Royal Alexandra Hospital in Paisley. All three are in a critical but stable condition.
Police say the road will be closed for several more hours.
