A ROYAL beer has been made by Oban Bay Brewery in honour of Bloodhound,an ocean-racing yacht owned by Her Majesty The Queen and Prince Philip in the 1960s.
Bloodhound is now owned by the Royal Yacht Britannia Trust and chief executive,Bob Downie, from Oban, came up with the idea of creating the beer.
The yacht arrived in Oban last weekend and the crew, who feature on the label of the beer, say the creation of the drink started as a joke.
